I am unfortunately in a non-deregulated area. So my only choice is CoServ. And it is like they know it. Anytime we call we are talked to as if we are the worst people in the world. Their tone initally is nice and cordial then when they find out the area we are in the tone changes. They are also not in the least bit accomodating. If you ever need a few days to pay your bill. Give it up. They cut you off, make you pay the deposit again and charge $70 reconnect fee. No exceptions. I thought it might just be me that they didn't like but I have heard from others that they are talked to rudely also. I have told my husband time and again, since we can't change we should go all solar and wind power and tell them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. But I have yet to find an economically way to do this. One quote was for 30K. That would take a while to recoup in savings. Anybody else go solar/wind for a decent price and what are your experiences with it?
